Our Team
Justin French
Co-FounderDr. Justin French is a retina surgeon based on Newfoundland's west coast who is dedicated to improving access to eye care locally and internationally. He founded a surgical eye care centre in his community, helping reduce cataract surgery wait times, and has volunteered extensively around the world, restoring sight and supporting surgical training. A passionate humanitarian, Justin is a proud father of three who values family, the outdoors, and giving back.
Dr. Genille French is an Emergency Medicine physician who serves patients in Newfoundland and Labrador and British Columbia, including volunteering many underserved rural communities around the globe. A strong advocate for health, wellness, and community service, she is passionate about helping others, embracing an active outdoor lifestyle, and raising her three energetic children.

The Apex Group of Companies was founded in Western Newfoundland and has grown to serve communities across multiple provinces throughout Canada. Spanning a diverse range of industries, the group has remained committed to giving back through its continued support of the APEX Impact Foundation and the “It’s Nice To Be Nice!” Charity.
