Behind every project is a story of hope, opportunity, and community. Explore our gallery below to see some of the initiatives, partnerships, and meaningful moments made possible through the support of our donors and volunteers.

Food Drive

Supporting vulnerable families by purchasing food locally and delivering three-month care packages containing maize flour, rice, beans, sugar, cooking oil, and soap. As of December 2025, AIF/IN2BN has helped provide more than 1.3 million meals to some of the world’s most food-insecure communities. Just $150 CAD can provide essential food and household supplies to feed a family of five for three months.

Jigger Clinics

In partnership with SOLE HOPE, a Ugandan-based organization working to eliminate jiggers β€” painful sand fleas that burrow into the skin and can cause severe swelling, infection, and difficulty walking β€” we support outreach clinics that provide treatment, education, and locally made shoes to vulnerable children. For many children, this is the first pair of shoes they have ever owned. With already treating over 2000 children, a donation of just $20 CAD can help a child suffering from jiggers and foot infections, relieve pain, restore mobility and dignity, and provide protection from future re-infection.

Gifts

Over the years, the generous donors and supporters of AIF/It’s Nice to Be Nice! Charity have shared countless gifts with children in Uganda. From handmade Christmas cards and dolls to clothing and soccer balls, each gift has brought joy, comfort, and lasting impact to the children and communities we support.

Kawaaga Health Care Center

The Drs. Genille and Justin French Kawaaga Health Care Centre was completed in 2022 β€” three years ahead of schedule thanks to the incredible generosity of donors and supporters. Today, the outpatient clinic is fully operational and serving the surrounding community. The women’s, men’s, pediatric, and maternity wards have now also been completed, with additional medical equipment and furnishings continuing to be provided through ongoing donor and government support. The health centre is helping expand access to essential healthcare services for tens of thousands of individuals and families in the region.

Children’s Group Home Project

In partnership with HOPE NL (Helping Orphans Prosper through Education), our 2025 efforts focused on supporting the construction of a 15-room group home that will provide a safe, stable, and supportive home for up to 30 children in Uganda. Land for the project has been purchased and construction is well underway, with the children expected to move into their new home in mid-2026. This initiative will help provide not only shelter, but also security, opportunity, and a stronger foundation for the future.

Mongolia

AIF has supported multiple medical mission trips to Mongolia, where Dr. Justin French, associate physicians, and professional healthcare staff have focused on training local ophthalmologists in the surgical skills needed to care for their own communities and train the next generation of surgeons. Through outreach clinics, thousands of patients in remote regions have been assessed and provided access to specialized eye care, while more than 2000 sight-restoring surgeries have been performed for patients suffering from cataract blindness. By combining direct patient care with hands-on surgical training, these missions are helping create sustainable solutions to vision loss in Mongolia for generations to come.
